A vibration/noise preventing roller for transferring hot-rolled metal products is provided to obtain a roller which can resist high temperature and high pressure, transfers hot-rolled metal products smoothly, further improves noise and vibration preventing functions, and extends durability of the roller considerably by improving and complementing conventional rollers for transferring hot-rolled metal products. In an ordinary roller comprising flanges(3,3') connected to rotary shafts(2) and fitted into inner faces of both ends of a roller cylinder(1), two holes(5) perforated into a circular supporting disc of the outer flange(3), a polyurethane low-foam(6) filled in an inner space of the roller cylinder, and projected rails longitudinally formed on the roller cylinder, a vibration/noise preventing roller is characterized in that close adhesion caps are clamped and fixed to both ends of the roller cylinder in a state that a pressure resistant metal ring(8) and an elastic metal ring(9) are alternately and cohesively inserted onto the projected rails longitudinally formed on the roller cylinder. |
