<p>A latch device is provided to decrease the operating force for an operating handle by installing a cancellation auxiliary unit for supporting the cancellation of half-closed and full-closed condition of a door body. A latch device comprises a latch device(20), an open lever(30), a cancellation auxiliary unit, and a power storage device(60). The latch device placed at one of a vehicle main body and a door body maintains the door body in half-closed or full-closed condition for the vehicle main body. The open lever cancels the half-closed or full-closed condition of the door body maintained by the latch device by opening a door. The cancellation auxiliary unit supports the cancellation of the half-closed and full-closed condition in the door body by the open lever by driving an operating handle. The power storage device stores portions of driving current supplied to a driving source in a lock device, and drives the cancellation auxiliary unit by supplying the driving current stored in the cancellation auxiliary unit.</p> |
