PURPOSE: An electrode structure is provided to achieve improved quality of the displayed image by enhancing the electrode structure of a PDP and minimizing luminance variations cause due to distortions of waveform. CONSTITUTION: A surface discharge AC plasma display panel comprises a plurality of scan electrodes(Y1 to Yn) and sustain electrodes(X1 to Xn) alternately arranged in parallel with each other, wherein the sustain electrodes have both ends connected in common; and an auxiliary electrode(101) connected to the end opposite from the pulse input end from among the connected ends of the sustain electrodes, in such a manner that pulse signals are simultaneously applied to both ends of the sustain electrodes. |
