A semi passive type fuel cell system is provided to uniformly supply air to air passages formed on a bipolar plate of a stack. A semi passive type fuel cell system includes a stack(10), a fuel supply unit(30), and an air supply unit(50). The stack is formed by stacking up many unit cells having a membrane-electrode assembly and bipolar plates disposed on both sides of the membrane-electrode assembly, wherein the membrane-electrode assembly has an electrolyte membrane and cathode and anode electrodes formed on both sides of the electrolyte membrane. The bipolar plate in the stack has air passages formed from the upper part to the lower part of the surface in contact with the cathode electrode. The air supply unit has a duct(60) installed on the upper and lower parts of the stack, and a fanning unit(51) which supplies air to the duct. The duct includes a nozzle part which is formed between the fanning unit and stack and reduces flow inertia of air supplied from the fanning unit to the upper part of the stack. |
