An apparatus and a method for managing book mark information in a car navigation system are provided to enhance convenience of a user by servicing user favorite items or places during DMB services. An apparatus for managing book mark information in a car navigation system includes a memory(17), an output unit(14), and a road information providing unit. The memory stores address information on at least one or more user favorite items or places including DMB(Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) signals based on book mark information which is stored in advance. The output unit outputs the stored book mark information. The road information providing unit provides road information corresponding to a selected address when a key is inputted to select an address among the outputted book mark information.
