A negative electrode for a lithium battery, a method for preparing the negative electrode, and a lithium battery containing the negative electrode are provided to inhibit the generation of pitch and dendrite on an electrode surface, thereby improving the reversible capacity of a battery. A negative electrode for a lithium battery comprises a conductive substrate(21); and a lithium metal dispersed electrodeposition layer(22b) formed on the one surface of the substrate, wherein the lithium metal dispersed electrodeposition layer contains a lithium metal layer pattern, and the surface area of the lithium metal layer pattern is 5-60 area% of the total surface area of the lithium metal dispersed electrodeposition layer. |
