A cylindrical resonator is provided to increase light transmittance by decreasing the amount of light, which is emitted from an electrodeless lamp and reflected on an inner periphery of a resonator. A cylindrical resonator includes a side surface(510), an upper surface(520), and a wrinkle portion(700). Upper and lower ends of the side surface are opened in a height direction. Plural light transmissive holes are formed on a planar surface of the side surface, which is formed in a cylinder shape. Plural light transmissive holes are formed on the planar surface of the upper surface, which is implemented on the upper end of the side surface, such that an upper opening of the side surface is shielded. The wrinkle portion is formed on an outer surface of the cylindrical resonator, such that a resonance frequency is varied as a diameter or a height of a cylinder is varied.
