METHOD OF CONFIGURING A CHANNEL FOR SYNCHRONIZATION

A method of configuring a channel for synchronization is provided easily to obtain the synchronization by supplying various information included in the channel to a receiving part. To configure a channel for synchronization, a scrambling code is generated based on a sequence index. A sequence for synchronization is generated using two or more sequences including an orthogonal code and the scrambling code. The sequence index is determined according to a channel including the sequence. The channel for synchronization is at least one of first and second secondary synchronous channels(S-SCH1,S-SCH2). Sequence indices included in the first and second secondary synchronous channels are different from each other.
