The present invention describes an apparatus (1) and a method for tempering a liquid surface treatment agent, such as paint, located in a receptacle (15), wherein the tempering is effected by means of at least one vortex tube (3). The invention is particularly well suited in so-called EX-areas. The tempering is provided by means of pressurized air and without use of electric current. |
