A putter is provided to stand independently on green by maintaining a putter head contacting area with the green constant. A putter(10) consisting a shaft(12) and a putter head(14) installed at an end of the shaft is characterized in that the putter head includes a front side head part(18) where a striking surface is formed and a rear side head part(20) which is installed at the rear side of the front head part, each of a first and a second contact portions coming into contact with the lawn grass side of green is formed by being respectively protruded from the bottom side of the front side head part, and a third contact portion coming into contact with the lawn grass side of the green is formed by being protruded from the bottom side of the rear side head part. At the putter head, an aiming unit for determining a direction of putting is installed. |
