A device and a method for searching information are provided to carry out searching of information or service input by a user and setting priority in the search result based on the location information of the user, thereby helping the user to carry out the latest information search. An information searching device includes a control unit(130) for carrying out integral search based on location data of users or setting priority in corresponding search result. An interface unit(110) transmits to be searched information or service contents which is input by the user and outputs the search results on which the priority is set. A device unit(120) selects any one of the output search results to carry out the corresponding information or service.
