A light emission device and a display device are provided to vary the screening speed of the light emission device according to the responding speed of the liquid crystal for restricting motion deterioration of the screen and to adjust the brightness of the light emission device in order to improve dark and light room contrasts of the screen. A light emission device comprises first and second substrates, one data electrode(22), multiple screening electrodes(24), electron discharging parts(18), and a light emission unit. The data electrode is provided to the first substrate. The screening electrodes are insulated against the data electrode. The electron discharging parts are electrically connected with one electrode of the data and screening electrodes. The light emission unit is provided in the second substrate. The data electrode is placed through an effective surface of the first substrate. The screen electrodes are placed on the data electrode. |
