A sump is provided to vary the height of an upper body by employing the upper body and a lower body, thereby corresponding to the thickness of a concrete layer of various buildings effectively. A sump comprises a lower body(10), an upper body(30), and a fixing member(20). The lower body includes a lower opening with a stopper(12) and an insertion recess(15). The lower opening is formed at the bottom of the lower body. The insertion recess is formed around the upper circumferential surface of the lower body. The lower body is buried under a ground. The fixing member is provided with an insertion portion(21), which is fit the insertion recess, and mounted close to the upper surface of the ground. The upper body is provided with an insertion portion(32), an upper opening(31), and a sealing member(33). The insertion portion is formed at the bottom of the upper body to be fit to the insertion recess. The upper opening is formed at the top of the upper body. The sealing member is formed around the outer peripheral surface of the upper body. The upper body is buried in a concrete layer. The upper body, the lower body, and the fixing member are all made of synthetic resin.
