A fault protection circuit of a battery pack is provided to prevent a fault of a fuse due to the uncut of the fuse when the fuse is operated below an operation voltage. The fault protection circuit of a battery pack includes a primary protection circuit and a secondary protection circuit. The primary protection circuit controls charging and discharging operations when a cell voltage higher than a predetermined voltage is charged or discharged by monitoring the cell voltage. The secondary protection circuit controls to permanently the battery pack by cutting the fuse by turning on a Q5 through a voltage sensing IC1 when the cell voltage higher than the predetermined voltage is charged. An IC2, an IC3, and an IC4 bypass a charge current applied to a corresponding cell by turning on the Q1, a Q2, and a Q3 connected to an output terminal when the corresponding cell is charged with a voltage higher than a reference voltage is charged.
