摘要 An electronic reactive power compensation apparatus detecting parallel resonance is provided to prevent a fire due to explosion of a condenser and secure stability of a power system by solving problems caused by the parallel resonance. An electronic reactive power compensation apparatus detecting parallel resonance includes a controller(10), a switching module(20), a power fuse(30), an LC(Inductor-Capacitor) bank(40), a parameter indication unit(50), and a load side CT(Current Transformer). The controller compensates reactive power in real time and instantaneously releases the LC bank by sensing a resonance time in case of generation of the parallel resonance in a power system. The switching module switches the LC bank with the power system without excessive inrush current in case of inputting and releasing a condenser unit. The power fuse is used for securing self-protection and stability of the power system in case of short-circuit in the power system. The LC bank includes an iron core reactor and the condenser unit to compensate for the reactive power in the power system and prevent the parallel resonance. The parameter indication unit performs an alarm output and a communication function with the outside through RS422. The load side CT instantaneously releases the LC bank in case of generation of the parallel resonance, indicate an error message to the controller, and monitors capacity of the LC bank compensated by the power system in real time.
