PRINTER AND PRINTING METHOD

A printer and a printing method thereof are provided to attach/detach a print sheet to/from a blanket roll body through an attaching/detaching unit so as to attach/detach the print sheet to a blanket roll rapidly, thereby reducing a processing time and cost for forming a color filter layer. A printer comprises a blanket roll(400) for printing color resists on a substrate supported on a work stage. The blanket roll includes a blanket roll body(410), and an attaching/detaching unit(430). The blanket roll body is rotated at the upper part of the substrate. The attaching/detaching unit attaches/detaches a print sheet(420) to/from the blanket roll body. The blanket roll includes at least one tension controlling unit(440). The attaching/detaching unit includes first and second attaching/detaching plates(432,434) combined at ends of the print sheet respectively. Thereby, the print sheet is attached/detached to/from the blanket roll easily.
