A local area wireless network connecting device using a data communication connector in a mobile terminal is provided to perform a wireless network connection to thus remove inconvenience of carrying around a cable, and accomplish network connections for various types of devices. A local area wireless network connecting device is connected to a mobile terminal(21). The mobile phone establishes a basic connection with the local area wireless network connecting device by using a software control program, attempts a connection with a network based on the number designated by a user, and is connected(22,23). A wireless network connection unit operates as an access point(24). An information terminal(computer) is subjected to a network connection setting, and then connected to a desired network.
