The invention relates to a service switching device (1) having a housing (3), having a front face side (4), a rear face side (5, 5'), having front (7, 7') and rear (8, 8') narrow sides connecting the front and rear face sides (4; 5, 5'), having lateral broad sides (9), a fastening side (6), having at least one screwless terminal connection (10), which is fixed in position in a terminal connection area (18) in the interior of the housing (3), for connecting connecting conductors (14) by fixedly clamping them with a clamping spring (12), which acts as a compression spring on the connecting conductor ends (16), fixedly clamps them in a window-like cutout (116) of a busbar (102) and has a number of spring elements (13a, 13b) which corresponds to the number of connecting conductors to be connected. The housing wall has, in the region of the terminal connection (10), a number of connection openings (23, 25, 26, 27) for in each case one connecting conductor which corresponds to the number of connecting conductors to be connected, and each connection opening (23, 25, 26, 27) is associated with a spring element (13a, 13b) in such a way that each connecting conductor can be clamped with the other connecting conductors against a common clamping edge (120) of only one window-like cutout (116).
