FIELD: confectionery industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves feeding into extruder chewing composition containing at least chewing base; exposing chewing base to pressure; extruding chewing composition; cutting extruded chewing composition in chamber filled with liquid; during cutting of chewing composition in chamber filled with liquid, producing at least one fraction of chewing composition granules having weight of 0.0001-0.008 g per individual granule; feeding extruded and cut granules into tabletting machine and embedding into compressed chewing gum tablets.
