FIELD: machine engineering, possibly manufacture of different types of bodies of revolution. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of creating deforming effort due to acting upon deforming member by means of liquid pressure; changing value of liquid pressure depending upon measured value of shape error of worked part; performing continuous active monitoring of size error of worked part in deformation region. Pneumatic gage arranged over deforming member is used for measuring shape error of worked part for correcting initial error of blank profile in longitudinal and cross sections. ^ EFFECT: improved quality of knurled parts, enhanced efficiency of knurling. ^ 3 dwg |
