FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains engine sump, suction pipeline, oil pump intake filter, chamber arranged in sump and communicating with inner space of sump through channels in its upper, side and bottom walls, and float. Chamber is made movable, with possibility of displacement relative to sump and is furnished with stop limiting displacement of float at least upwards relative to chamber. Channels is side wall of chamber are arranged in its upper part. Float is arranged inside chamber whose lower part is made with cavity into which chamber can get with clearance. Chamber is provided with guide by means of which it can vertically move relative to sump. Device is furnished with spring, stop and gasket. Stop is secured in on suction pipeline, spring is arranged between stop and chamber, and float provides closing on channels in side wall of chamber by its side surface. Gasket is placed between chamber and sump. Chamber with stop and float are made of oil-resistant plastic, and gasket is made of oil-resistant rubber. ^ EFFECT: provision of accelerated warming up of engine oil with simultaneous increase of engine service life owing to getting of most heated part of oil from operating engine from sump into chamber and further on into engine depending on oil level in engine sump. ^ 10 cl, 3 dwg |
