FIELD: chemical technology, polymers. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention describes a method for preparing polysaccharide or polysaccharide ether solution showing viscosity value 1000 mPa x s or less. Method involves addition of polysaccharide or polysaccharide ether and an alkaline depolymerizing agent to an aqueous medium. Polysaccharide or polysaccharide ether and alkaline depolymerizing agent are added to aqueous medium simultaneously. Also, invention describes a solid composition used in preparing low-molecular polysaccharide ethers aqueous solution with the high content of a solid substance that comprises polysaccharide ether and alkaline depolymerizing agent. Alkaline depolymerizing agent is chosen from group consisting of sodium percarbonate, carbamide peroxide in combination with a base, sodium persulfate in combination with a base, 3-chloroperoxybenzoic acid in combination with a base, and their mixtures. Invention provides preparing composition used in paper industry and in foam flotation for separations of minerals wherein this composition shows the required low viscosity and the high content of solid substances. ^ EFFECT: improved preparing method, valuable properties of composition. ^ 10 cl, 14 ex |
