FIELD: valving systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: control valve comprises housing (14) and lid that covers the top port in the valve housing (14). The bottom part of the lid has a hollow beveled downward. Rod (4) is mounted within the central opening in the lid for permitting it to reciprocate. Plug (30) is connected with the rod and is made for permitting movements with the valve housing. Packing unit (44) is interposed between the part of the central opening of the lid and rod and provides seal between the rod and the lid. Locator (48) of the packing is secured to the bottom part of the lid and locks the packing unit in the central opening in the lid and around the rod.
