FIELD: medicine, stomatology, pharmacy. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agents used in treatment of parodontosis. Agent for treatment of parodontium comprises metronidazol, rutin, polyethylene glycol 1500 and 400, glycerol and water, and these components are taken in the definite ratio. Method for preparing the agent involves preliminary preparing metronidazol solid dispersion by its melting at temperature 110-130°C followed by mixing this dispersion with other components at temperature 90-110°C and the following addition of glycerol and water. Prepared agent possesses good organoleptic properties, pleasant taste, high anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties.
