FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: device for cleaning exhaust gases of internal combustion engines has exhaust pipe housing, reservoir with water, jacket located on exhaust pipe and consisting of two step-connected cylinders of larger and smaller diameters. Holes made in larger cylinder and in exhaust pipe after jacket are connected from outer side by metal tube, and hole with branch pipe to deliver water is made in larger cylinder before step joint. End of metal tube at inlet into exhaust pipe is made in form of flat semiround tongue. ^ EFFECT: provision of stable operation of device, reduced maintenance expenses and cost of servicing and repair, simplified manufacture and mounting under automobile pool conditions, reduced pollution of environment. ^ 2 cl, 3 dwg |
