The device has a base connected to a motor vehicle. A fixation unit i.e. rotary fixation magnet (126), ensures fixation of a removable lighting case on the base, in a removable manner, where the case is provided with a power supply module i.e. rechargeable battery, and a light source. The case has a retractable handle (14) that is slidingly mounted in a housing (121) by a sliding connection, where the housing is formed by a recess of the case. The connection has ribs engaged in grooves (122) that are arranged on respective walls (129) opposite to the recess of the case.
