#CMT# #/CMT# The line has a temperature sensor emerging inside a catalytic converter that includes two envelopes (48, 49) integrated to each other by fastening clips (48A, 49A), where the envelope (49) contains a particle filter (47). The fastening clip (48A) serves as a mounting base to the temperature sensor. The clip is pierced of bore (48C) that houses a base (76) of the sensor. The clip (48A) is placed with respect to the filter such that the sensor emerged between an oxidation catalyst (46) and the particle filter is close to the filter. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Exhaust line for exhausting waste gas from a diesel type internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle (claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The temperature sensor positioned in the envelope of the catalytic converter permits to easily mount and dismount the particle filter of another envelope during the maintenance operations e.g. cleaning of particle filter, without touching the sensor, thus avoiding risk of impacts on the sensor. The exhaust line is inexpensive and can be arranged in a simple manner without encumbrance. #CMT#DESCRIPTION OF DRAWINGS : #/CMT# The drawing shows a detailed view of an exhaust line of an internal combustion engine. 46 : Oxidation catalyst 47 : Particle filter 48, 49 : Envelopes 48A, 49A : Fastening clips 48C : Bore 75 : Temperature sensor 76 : Base. |
