A method for manufacturing a thin steel plate is provided to reduce the manufacturing cost for the thin steel plate by adding a margin height of a blank to a proper height of a next blank. A method for manufacturing a thin steel plate comprises the steps of setting a proper height(H') of a blank(B), which is processed according to an initial reference height(H), by subtracting a margin height(H") of the blank from the initial reference height, and adding the margin height to the proper height of the next blank. The method is performed by using a cutting device including a trim steel having a pitch and a height and a trimming unit, which is obtained by bolting the trim steel to a die. The trim steel and the trimming unit form a wave shape, such as a square wave, a saw-tooth wave or a triangle wave.
