An air conditioner using geothermal power is provided to secure optimal efficiency of the air conditioner by comparing calculated overcooling and overheating degrees with predetermined values of overcooling and overheating degrees set in a controller and controlling the air conditioner. An air conditioner using geothermal power comprises a water supply pipe(2) for a geothermal heat exchanger, a geothermal water pump(1), a flow rate control valve(4), a recovery pipe(3) of the geothermal heat exchanger, a compressor(10), a four-way valve(40), a geothermal water heat exchanger(30), a plurality of indoor heat exchangers(20), electronic expansion valves(21,31), and a controller(100). The compressor includes one constant speed compressor and one inverter compressor or more installed in parallel for controlling compressing capacity of heat exchanger gas easily. The four-way valve changes a direction of the heat exchanger gas compressed from the compressor. The geothermal water heat exchanger absorbs heat from geothermal power of geothermal water supplied from the geothermal water heat exchanger at the time of heating. The indoor heat exchangers radiate heat of heat exchanger gas supplied from the compressor at the time of heating. The electronic expansion valves are installed to pipes for allowing heat exchanger fluid to be moved. The controller controls components by signals inputted from temperature sensors(Th1,Th2) and a pressure sensor(Ph).
