摘要 A flexible optical circuit board and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to manufacture a small product by reducing a width of the board by half through a double-sided flexible copper clad laminate. A flexible optical circuit board includes a light transmission unit(100), a light receiving unit(200), and a flexible optical waveguide(50). The light transmission unit includes a driving chip(15), a light source unit(14), and a through hole array(20). The driving chip is connected to an upper copper clad layer(11) of a flexible copper laminate(10). The light source unit is driven by the driving chip. The through hole array is arranged on the light source unit to transmit an optical signal from the light source unit. The light receiving unit includes a driving chip(25), a light detection unit(24), and a through hole array(40). The driving chip is connected to the upper copper clad layer of the flexible copper clad laminate. The light detection unit is driven by the driving chip. The through hole array is arranged on the light detection unit to receive an optical signal from the light detection unit. The flexible optical waveguide includes a through hole array and a reflection mirror surface(55). The through hole array is aligned with the light receiving unit. The reflection mirror surface performs optical connection by corresponding to the through hole array aligned with the light receiving unit. The flexible optical waveguide is positioned on a lower copper clad layer(13) of the flexible copper clad laminate.
