#CMT# #/CMT# The centre (1) has two distant chucks (3, 4) e.g. hydraulic locking collet chuck, for gripping a section to be machined (2) through their ends, and mobile on a frame (12) extended along a longitudinal axis (x). A frame overhang support (17) carries a machining tool (6) e.g. trimming cutter, through a displacement unit permitting displacement of the tool along transverse and vertical axes (y, z).
