An apparatus for removing yarn scraps in a circular discoloration knitting machine is provided to improve the efficiency in collection of the yarn scraps, by using a rotary dust collection net heading for needles on which the yarn scraps are disposed. An apparatus for removing yarn scraps comprises a rotary cylinder(8) having a plurality of movable needles(81) for performing a knitting operation. The apparatus further comprises a compressed air generator, an electric adaptor, and a negative pressure generator(2). The electric adaptor includes an air adsorption connector connected to the compressed air generator, and an air exhaust connector connected to the air adsorption connector to exhaust the compressed air. The negative pressure generator is fixed below the air exhaust connector and rotated in synchronization with the air exhaust connector. The negative pressure generator has an air inlet(22), an air outlet(23), and a negative pressure adsorption nozzle(21). The compressed air is inputted through the air inlet, which is connected to the air adsorption connector. The negative pressure adsorption nozzle heads for the needles. The compressed air is exhausted through the air outlet, which is covered with a dust collector. Yarn scraps generated on the needles during the knitting operation are adsorbed by the negative pressure adsorption nozzle, and filtered off by the dust collector. |
