An RFID(Radio Frequency IDentification) terminal and a method for operating an RFID terminal operation server are provided to supply customized text/image information to a user, thereby enhancing satisfaction of the user using an RFID system. An RFID interface(220) collects ID information by continuously irradiating a detection signal having a predetermined frequency band. An RFID information processor(240) outputs text/image information received from an RFID terminal operation server(300) controlling operation of the RFID terminal by responding to the ID information. The text/image information received from the RFID terminal operation server includes detail personal information of a user using an RFID tag(100) and the text/image information set by the user. The RFID information processor includes a data transceiver transmitting the ID information to the RFID terminal operation server and receiving the text/image information corresponding to the ID information and an ID of the text/image information from the RFID terminal operation server, a database storing the received information, and an output part outputting the text/image information.
