METHOD FOR RECOGNIZING POSSIBILITY OF VIDEO CALL OF MOBILE TERMINAL IN MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

A video call possibility recognizing method of a terminal in a mobile communication system is provided to enable a terminal to decide whether a video call is available in a sending terminal and a receiving terminal after connecting the first voice call so as to display the decided results and to offer a video call possibility telephone number list to a user, thereby activating a video call. A call connection request is received from the first terminal(S210). Video call possibility of the first terminal is decided on. A call connection setup message contains video call possibility information expressed by using a bearer capability information element which is a data field for delivering bearer capability of the first terminal(S220). The call connection setup message including the video call possibility information is transmitted to the second terminal(S230).
