<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die for forming where, when a molten metal is solidified, so as to obtain a molded part, the molded part is easy to be released, and to provide a casting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The die 4 for forming is provided with: a first die 4a; a second die 4b clamped with the first die 4, so as to form a cavity P and having a communication hole allowing the cavity P to be communicated with the outside; a sprue 41 fitted to the communication hole, so as to be the inlet of a molten metal M; and a cylindrical gate insert 4c connecting the sprue 41 and the cavity P, and forming a molten metal feed path 42 whose size is narrowed at a prescribed position. The gate insert 4c comprises a temperature control part for controlling the temperature of the molten metal M in the molten metal feed path 42 in such a manner that the molten metal M on the side of the sprue 41 at least including the prescribed position of the molten metal feed path 42 is made hard to be solidified compared with the molten metal M on the side of the cavity P at least including the prescribed position of the molten metal feed path 42. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
