PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for electric insulation capable of reducing an instilation amount of the resin composition for electric insulation, and electric equipment using this resin composition for electric insulation. SOLUTION: This is the resin composition for the electric equipment insulation in which viscosity at 80°C is 10 to 500 mPas. This is the resin composition for electric equipment insulation containing (A) 50 to 99 pts.wt. of aromatic polyfunctional epoxy resin, (B) 50 to 1 pts.wt. of aliphatic epoxy resin, (C) 50 to 200 pts.wt. of acid anhydrides against the total sum 100 pts.wt. of (A) and (B), and (D) 0.1 to 100 pts.wt. of phenol resin against 100 pts.wt. of (C). This is the electric equipment in which an electric insulating treatment method using the resin composition for electric equipment insulation is electric-insulation treated by a drip treatment method.
