PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hygrometer in which the interchangeability of the capacitance-type humidity elements, of which the capacitance values change due to humidity, at replacement of the elements is realized in both the connector-connection type and the cable-connection type. SOLUTION: In the hygrometer, a humidity-sensitive part, to which a capacitance type humidity element of which the capacitance value changes by humidity is mounted, is connected by a connector to a conversion circuit part for converting the electrostatic capacitance into humidity that enables replacement of the capacitance type humidity element. A storage element for storing the characteristics data of the humidity element, which are the characteristics of the humidity element and required to convert the electrostatic capacitance into humidity, is mounted on the humidity-sensitive part.
