PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent movement of grease from a connection space provided with a coupling member of an interior of an outer toward a side of recessed parts of an inner face of a bellows part of boots, and to avoid abnormal expansion and breakage of the bellows part of the boots in a universal coupling. SOLUTION: In the universal coupling, a tip of an inner 23 provided in one shaft 11 is inserted into the connection space 50 of the interior of the outer 21 provided in another shaft 11, the outer 21 and the inner 23 are connected via the coupling member 24 in the connection space 50, the connection space 50 is filled with grease, and the connection space 50 is sealed by the bellows like boots 60 attached to the outer 21 and the inner 23. A grease guard 70 provided along a plurality of protruding parts 63A of the inner face of the bellows part 63 of the boots 60 and blocking the recessed parts 63B between the protruding parts 63A adjacent to each other, is attached to the inner 23.
