PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning method of metal parts, which is capable of cleaning the metal parts represented by a shaft for a developing roller, without using a cleaning tank. SOLUTION: In the cleaning method of the shaft for the developing roller, the shaft is cleaned by irradiating the surface of the shaft for the developing roller used for an electrophotographic image forming apparatus with a laser.
