PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power unit with a transmission actuating device, a power unit with a clutch actuating device, or a power unit with both actuating devices mounted on a vehicle such as a motorcycle. SOLUTION: In a power unit for a vehicle, an internal combustion engine 3 is mounted on the vehicle while a crankshaft 47 is directed in the longitudinal direction of a vehicle body, and a transmission 70 is disposed behind the internal combustion engine 3. One or both of a transmission actuating electric motor for driving the transmission actuating device 70e, 70f of the transmission 70 and a clutch actuating electric motor 71 for driving the clutch actuating device 69f, 74, 75, 77 of a clutch 69 are arranged behind the power unit.
