This knitted tubular foot and/or leg wear comprising a foot part and a leg part (13) comprising an upper edge with no welt. It is held up by two helical strips (20, 20') on the leg part of the garment where the material of the knit exhibits greater resistance to elongation than in the surrounding regions, this being achieved by a different form of knitting at the site of the strips. It comprises at least one massage region, particularly around the heel, near the inside of the ankle and/or the outside of the ankle, with a knitted strip (24) in the form of a loop surrounding the heel and massage reliefs (25). A massage region is also provided under the instep where the foot does not touch the ground.
