SAFETY SHUTTER PRECLUDING ACCESS TO SOCKET CONTACTS AND PLUG SOCKET PROVIDED WITH SUCH SHUTTER

FIELD: electrical engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed plug socket has shroud. Contacts to receive plug pins are provided on its shroud bottom and safety shutter in the form of elongated strip is disposed within shroud to preclude access to socket contacts. End parts of strip are disposed above base contacts overlapping the latter. Strip is provided with flexible horns running therefrom for resting through their outer wall on respective stop of base provided with additional stops to restrict strip turn. Strip is provided with flat projections disposed between flexible horns and end parts. Side wall of each projection is arc-wise convex on horn side throughout its entire length to allow for horn abutting against it as soon as strip turns. Horns are flat and are equal in lengthwise thickness; they are rigidly coupled with strip that has circular recess at point of connection to horn on inner side surface of horn to form area for horn inner surface abutting against strip when it engages the stop. End parts of strip are free to engage additional stops in response to strip turn under elastic impact of mentioned horns. ^ EFFECT: eliminated sticking of safety shutter, enhanced reliability and service life of the latter. ^ 2 cl, 2 dwg
