<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic reflection film that is suitable as a reflecting material of a direct-underlay type backlight using a plurality of linear light sources to be used for a liquid crystal television set or the like and that has both of high reflectance and high directivity for visible light. <P>SOLUTION: The reflection film contains at least two kinds of incompatible resins, characterized in that: the phase separation structure of the incompatible resins is a sea-island structure having a sea phase made of at least one kind of resin and an island phase made of at least one kind of resin; the island phase is aligned in one direction at least in a surface layer portion of the film; and the intensity of reflected light differs between the reflection face in a direction parallel to the alignment direction of the island phase and the reflection face in a direction perpendicularly intersecting the alignment direction of the island phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
