<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce unnecessary multiplexing as much as possible and to improve efficiency in utilization of a communications system. <P>SOLUTION: The communications system comprises a plurality of base stations and a terminal connected to any one of the base stations; and each of the base stations includes: a means for controlling a strength of transmission power during communication with the terminal to a first value and a second value within a range weaker than the first value; and a means for distributing to a plurality of terminals schedule data indicating the relation between the strength of transmission power and a time, while the transmission power is controlled to the first value. The terminal includes a means for determining whether it is possible to communicate with a base station while the transmission power of the base station is controlled to the second value; and a means for communicating with the base station with the transmission power of the second value, when it is determined that the terminal can communicate with the base station. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
