OPTICAL SYSTEM FOR TRANSFERRING LUMINOUS FLUX AND RETINA SCANNING DISPLAY USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical system to reduce the generation of aberration and to provide a retina scanning display using the optical system. SOLUTION: A first diffraction part 11 and a second diffraction part 12 are separated from each other and mounted on a light guide part 13. The first diffraction part 11 diffracts a luminous flux which is made incident to the diffraction part 11 and allows the luminous flux to be incident on the light guide part 13. The light guide part 13 guides the luminous flux diffracted with the first diffraction part 11 to the second diffraction part 12 by the reflections in the light guide part 13. The second diffraction part 12 further diffracts the luminous flux which is guided by the light guide part 13 and emitted out of the light guide part 13. The first diffraction part 11, the light guide part 13 and the second diffraction part 12 are substantially symmetrical interposing a virtual plane P1 existing between the first diffraction part 11 and the second diffraction part 12.
