PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic solution for driving an aluminum electrolytic capacitor, which allows operation guarantee as to electrical characteristics, heat cycle characteristics, and the like in a temperature range between -40°C and 105°C, and an electrolytic capacitor. SOLUTION: An electrolytic solution usesγ-butyrolactone as a main solvent, contains at least one auxiliary solvent, and includes at least one salt of N-methylmorpholine and an organic carboxylic acid as a solute. The electrolytic solution does not cause reduction in conductivity under low temperatures, and can maintain high withstand voltage even under high temperatures. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
