PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heteroacene derivative having excellent oxidation resistance and forming a semiconductor active phase by a coating method, and to provide an oxidation-resistant organic semiconductor material and an organic thin film. SOLUTION: A heteroacene derivative represented by general formula (1) is obtained by subjecting a tetrahaloterphenyl derivative to tetrametalation by using a metalation agent and then treating the resultant with a reagent. (Wherein, substituents R<SP>1</SP>-R<SP>4</SP>may be the same or different and each represents H, F, Cl, a 4-30C aryl, a 3-20C alkyl or a 1-20C halogenated alkyl; T<SP>1</SP>and T<SP>2</SP>may be the same or different and each represents S, Se, Te, O, P, B or Al; and l and m each independently represents an integer of 0 or 1).
