The interface (1) has a flange (7) driven by an internal combustion engine of a motor vehicle (5). A support plate (9) is attached to the flange over a spring unit (33) relatively rotatable manner, where the support plate is lockable with the flange in a torque-proof manner against a resetting force of the spring unit by using a locking pin for mounting of the interface. The flange is provided with a radially running slotted hole (25). The support plate has a slotted hole (27) running in circumferential direction. An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting a moment interface of a power train of a motor vehicle.
