FIELD: flow measuring modules, possible use in conjunction with management system and controlling valve assembly for controlling the flow of flowing substance through a channel. ^ SUBSTANCE: flow measuring module is connected to intellectual positioning device inside the controlling valve assembly for receiving data, related to position of throttle element within the channel. Position of throttle element is used for identification of at least one dimensional coefficient of valve connected to position of throttling element inside a channel. ^ EFFECT: the invention may be easily integrated into an existing system for controlling a process without disrupting the flow, with minimization of unwanted removal of functional process control devices. ^ 2 cl, 5 dwg
