<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To create height-limited-area information regardless of whether parts are mounted on a printed board or not. <P>SOLUTION: In the device 100 for forming height-limited-area information, a calculation reference determination unit 140 determines whether to take a single plane (printed board surface) or multiple planes (printed board surface and each part surface) as a basis of calculation of height limit based on setting information, when a designation base plane designated by a user has a plurality of heights, or when parts are mounted on a surface of a printed board designated by the user, and removes the parts mounted on the printed board when the height limit is calculated based on the single plane.
